Vehra Khushian Da, meaning “the home courtyard where happiness prevails” is a religious half-hour program.
This program aims to familiarize Canadian Sikhs with their rich and independent faith and its history, as well as a good understanding of other faiths.
Living in a new land, younger generations of immigrants should thus be aware of and take pride in their past but appreciate and respect their present.
The program also discusses social issues affecting the community and features interviews with religious/spiritual scholars and prominent members of the local community, who share their inspirations and personal journeys.
